Cyber cum learning center education initiative, is a part of Pratham - the motto of which is a simple and precise "Every child in school... and learning well..". Besides focussing on the basic primary and secondary education needs, Pratham has over the past few years started its IT educational initiative - "From illiteracy to e-literacy" - as the motto goes.

In a world where education has become the biggest differentiating factor, the Foundation offers an edge to deprived and rural students, through its activities 
 
Though there are very few schools in rural areas, children and their parents are showing interest and availing school facilities in these remote locations. Children have to walk miles to reach their school. Rural schools pay special attention to children in these locations so that each child gets an equal and important opportunity.
 
They promote reading and writing and enhanced basic education. These schools also provide study material to every student apart from, meals during school hours, uniforms etc. Rural village schools also have implemented library system, which provide books, newspapers and magazine to children.
 

The education field has changed in many ways today. Almost every student wants a computer, whether it is at home or at school. They also demand the use of the Internet, as they say they can access information online for homework as well as projects. This is something that has changed the way students study around the world.
